Nike designed the Zoom Rival M 9 to be a versatile track spike for a wide range of events. The Rival offers a secure fit, thanks to an arch band around the midfoot and a lightweight mesh upper. Plus, a partial bootie construction reduces the number of layers while giving the spike a sock-like fit.
A spike plate underneath the shoe holds seven interchangeable spikes for premium grip on the track, and the plate extends under the arch for increased midfoot response and support. Patterned rubber through the heel adds another touch of traction.
