The 4 inch Round Drain Grate fits on top of drain pipe to drain light flows of stormwater from small lawns, landscaped areas, patios, and walkways. The 4 inch Round Drain Grate, also known as a drain cover, has an open surface area of 2.4 sq. inch and a flow rate of 7 GPM. Connects to 3 inch and 4 inch sewer and drain pipes and fittings, 3 inch and 4 inch single-wall corrugated pipes, and 3 inch and 4 inch triple-wall pipes for a soil-tight fit. The pipe grate is ADA Compliant and heel-proof. Built to stand up to the elements, it’s made of polyethylene, a type of plastic, using a combination of virgin and recycled content treated with UV inhibitors to prevent fading and cracking from the sun. As part of a complete drainage system, the grate blocks leaves and debris as it drains water entering drain pipes. The pipes carry the water to a discharge point downstream such as a pop-up emitter, or to percolate into the ground with a dry well or infiltration trench.
