• Our 17.6" (45cm) Fret Leveler L-Beam sets a higher standard for what you should expect when you buy a Fret Leveling Beam for Acoustic and Electric Guitars. Top and bottom edges are precision ground to a flat accuracy tolerance of +/-.00125" per foot via a strategically designed 3-step grinding process on each work surface. We include three Adhesive-backed 3M Stikit Gold Abrasive strips, the preferred choice for top repair shops: (2) P240 Grit, (1) P400 Grit
• We beefed up our Fret Leveler L-Beam design so the weight of the leveler does the work for you. The 17.6" L-Beam is in a weight class by itself at 1.435 lbs (651g). Features our exclusive ergonomic curved handle design for the ultimate comfort and control, plus helps avoid slipping out of our hand. Our 1.75" lower profile height gets you closer to the fretboard for better control and feel. We even spent the extra time to radius the edges to keep you from banging into and damaging high frets.
• WHY DID I NOT THINK OF THE SAFE ZONE?: The Fret Crowning S-File's patent pending Safe Zone innovation prevents you from overfiling. At the top of the file, there is a small strip where there are no diamonds. Once you perfectly sculpt and round both sides of the frets, the S-File stops filing and skates on top of the fret. The premium diamonds make both fast and precision filing. Whether you are a seasoned tech or new to fret crowing it reduces the learning curve from weeks to hours.
