CRB7 Edging and Dowel Trim Kit – Flush Trim Dowels and Edge Lipping with Router Precision The MPOWER CRB7 Edging and Dowel Trim Kit is designed to flush trim hardwood lipping, dowel heads and iron on edging quickly and accurately using your router and CRB7 Router Base. Flush trimming dowels and edge lipping can be difficult using traditional tools. Trim saws and chisels can easily damage the surrounding work surface if the cut is slightly too deep. The CRB7 Trim Kit provides a far safer and more consistent solution. Stable Router Platform The Trim Kit riser clips onto the underside of the CRB7 and creates a raised router platform. This lifts the router above the protruding dowel or lipping while increasing contact area between router and work surface. The result is greater routing stability and smoother cutting control. Consistent Cutter Height Maintaining the correct cutter height is critical when trimming dowels or edging. The CRB7 Trim Kit keeps the cutter positioned just above the surrounding surface so only the excess material is removed. This allows dowel heads and lipping to be trimmed flush in a single routing pass. Tracer Bearing Guided Routing The included tracer bearing runs along the edge of the board while guiding the router cutter directly over the lipping. This removes the need to visually guide the router and greatly improves accuracy during the routing pass.
