SMART TAG’s new Mini Temperature Microchips has a built-in biosensor that allows you to read an animal's temperature with any microchip scanner that reads temperature. Most valuable when a temperature needs to be taken hourly. It is accurate and non-invasive unlike rectal thermometers. Our Temperature Microchips are the smallest on the market, with a 14-gauge, ultra sharp needle that make it quick and less invasive for small animals. A veterinarian or trained vet tech simply injects the microchip beneath the surface of your pet’s skin between the shoulder blades. Similar to a routine shot, requires no anesthetic, takes only seconds, and your pet will not react any more than to any vaccination. These microchips are ISO & ICAR Certified, have an anti-migration coating and no internal energy source. The Microchip ID can be read by all universal scanners by passing a microchip scanner over the pet’s shoulder blades.
