The Onitsuka Tiger Mexico ‘66 debuted as a performance running shoe in 1966 for the trials for the Mexico City summer olympics in 1968, and over the years has become a popular casual shoe. The modern iteration of the model is mostly similar to the original version, but is made with contemporary materials and colors. Here, the shoe has a cream white leather construction with orange tiger stripes on the sides. Classic “Onitsuka Tiger” branding is found on the tongue tag.
