Traveling Man Treasures is selling this antique Japanese carved & polished boxwood netsuke, a type of miniature sculpture originally created as functional toggles to secure a man's sagemono (hanging objects) to the obi (belt) of his kimono.

This monkey holding a peach netsuke was carved & polished with great detailing, signed on the bottom by the artisan, and is in excellent condition.
