This media basket kit will replace the stock foam filter in any Spec 2.6 Gallon (10L) or Spec V 5 Gallon (19L) tank. Using a media basket concentrates your water flow through each layer of filter media. Using the basket instead of the stock foam block will severely reduce the ability for water to bypass your concentrated media, without any reduction in flow. *If using an overflow cover make sure to remove cover before installing media basket, then you can replace overflow cover*
