  • Magu Roll is Japan's leading brand of paper used for fish and meat. If you go to Tsukiji Market (the world's largest food market), you will see most tuna vendors using this product. The magu roll does not contain any adulterants so it is food safe. It is ideal for use when storing fish and meat (especially frozen fish for sashimi) because it preserves its freshness. These sheets absorb the water and blood, slowing down oxidization and color change in the flesh. Especially suitable for thawing.
  • It is used to wrap up tuna after the tuna has been cut into blocks. Maintains freshness of tuna, thawing tuna, raw meat and the frozen meat.
  • Magu Roll is also commonly used to absorb dripping that occurs with sashimi rolls and is used as a paper mat for tempura. A wide array of sushi shops and restaurants use Maguroll.
  • Contains no harmful or toxic substances. It's hygienic and leaves no paper residue.
