Luigi Colani 580A Ballpoint Pen - Rare
Luigi Colani is an industrial designer from Germany. His designs, which feature gentle, organic curves inspired by nature, stimulate the creativity of those who see and use them. He is arguably on par with Le Corbusier.
Some of his notable designs include the Fiat 1100 TV, the Colani GT Spider (VW), and numerous pieces of furniture.
I believe you can feel his spirit in this ballpoint pen as well.
The refill is out, but I understand it takes a G2 refill, so it should be relatively easy to replace.
Other famous designs by him include the Pelikan No. 1 and the Canon T80. I've heard that this 580A design was also exhibited in the Colani Museum.
As it is an old item, there is some aging.
