This is a vintage L.E. Smith Moon & Stars pattern amberina glass compote or candy dish with a lid.
The distinctive "Moon and Stars" pattern features circular motifs with star-like centers.
The amberina coloration transitions from a deep red at the top to a yellowish-orange at the base.
