Strömeng is located in the far north of Norway, and the knives reflect the Saami (Laplander) culture. The Strömeng family has been making knives in Karasjok for over 200 years. Styles and techniques have been passed from father to son, and the knives remain faithful to the original pattern developed in the 18th century.
