- When charging, it efficiently charge the battery in constant current mode, and switch to constant voltage mode as the battery voltage increases. This allows for efficient charging while reducing battery strain. When fully charged, the smart chip automatically reduces charging current. When fully charged, it then stops charging and prevents battery degradation caused by overcharging. It also monitors the temperature of the battery while charging, adjust the charging current when overheating is detected or temporarily stop charging which improves safety and extends battery life.
- Even if the battery is not in use for a long time, or it is always connected, the smart chip will provide proper maintenance and keep the battery healthy. Note that Charging may not be possible due to battery degradation.
