The JP Korsteel Stainless Steel French Link Hunter Dee Ring Snaffle Bit is a double jointed bit that helps to evenly distribute pressure over the tongue. Combined with the uniquely curved mouthpiece this bit is designed to reduce the "nutcracker" effect as well as alleviating pressure on the bars of the horse's mouth. The Hunter Dee ring is a large dee ring design that compromises between an eggbutt and a full cheek snaffle, preventing pinching at the corners of the mouth. This horse bit is considered a mild bit and can be preferable to horses with less palate clearance.
