First edition, first printing hardcover copy of It by Stephen King (Viking, 1986). Increasingly scarce and collectible true first edition of this beloved horror masterpiece. Jacket now protected in new archival sleeve but with some scuffing to faces and shelf wear around the edges - including chipping, creases and small tears. Faint liquid staining to bottom edge of back cover, visible only on interior side of jacket. Small tear/puncture to center of back cover with related dent to board beneath. Boards soiled from handling and with corners bumped. Text block sagging and binding is loosening though all pages remain attached. Previous owner’s inscription on front endpaper and some soiling to outer edges of text block. See photos for condition.
