Intel Ethernet LR Optics 1GbE, 10GbE SFP+ Transceiver Module

The Intel E10GSFPLR is an SFP+ LR optical transceiver that connects an Intel Ethernet Converged Network Adapter to single-mode fiber for links as long as 6.2 miles (10 km). It supports data rates from 1.25 Gb/s to 10.3 Gb/s, so you can deploy it in today’s Gigabit network and keep it in place when you move to 10 Gigabit Ethernet.

Because it follows the 1000Base-LX and 10GBase-LR standards and operates at a 1310 nm wavelength, the module fits neatly into existing fiber runs in data centers, enterprise campuses, and service-provider networks.
