18" 24" Hook and Band Cranked or Straight Gate Hinges with Drop Bolt Our traditional hook and band Hinges come in two parts a rectangular hinge plate that fits to the gate post, and a band which fits to the gate. They are the perfect option to secure heavy weight external gates. Available in Straight and Cranked style based in high quality iron construction offers long-lasting style and durable for a long-term use. Available in hot dipped galvanised zinc and powder coated epoxy black weatherproof finish giving them style and maximum resistance to rust and corrosion. Manufactured from high quality thick iron by using traditional casting methods ensures strength and durability. They are ideal for securing heavy weight gates, high use doors, garden gates, garages, sheds and stables in domestic, commercial and agricultural applications. Each hinge set are supplied in pairs with complete necessary fixings for a quick and easy assembly. Comes with removable hook pins for fitting to wooden gates. The hook pin is fitted to the post with the band fitted to the gate. The gate is then offered up to the hook and lowered onto the pin allowing the pin to take the weight of the gate. To prevent removal of the gate depending on the weight distribution of the gate mount the top or bottom pin upside down.
