Hi-Yield Improved Slug and Snail Bait is a pelleted bait for soil surface treatment in home vegetable gardens, turfgrass lawns, and around ornamentals, fruit trees, and berries. Bait attracts slugs and snails in moist soil, then Metaldehyde paralyzes the pests until they dehydrate in the sun. This new formulation may be applied as needed but will last 3 to 4 weeks, even through rain and sprinkling. For best control, apply to moist soil in the evening when damage is expected or first appears. Broadcast to soil around crops such as beans, cabbage, curcurbits, tomatoes, potatoes, blackberries and more, or under fruit tress such as apples or citrus. Also suitable for broadcast on turfgrass lawns, along fences, and in ornamental beds. Contains Bitrex bittering agent to deter children, pets, and other animals. 1 lb covers 4,400 square feet.
