The Quilt Has Many Pattern Names: Patchwork, Checkered Garden, Nine Square, Postage Stamp.
This is Just the Top, No Backing or Batting. The Only Stitches are the Ones to Sew Together are the Squares.
Measures: 93” x 101”
Vintage Condition, No Stains or Rips. The imperfections are that a few stitches are loose, See Photos. Because there are various ways to repair quilts, I’ve decided to leave that to the new owners.
Each nine patch is bordered with cream colored square and whole top is border with same type of squares. The fabrics are probably from the ‘50s.
I’ve had it for many years and just haven’t finished it to show its full beauty. A lot of someone’s love and labor went into it. A shame to keep it stored away.
Time to make it your own heirloom.
