This is a late 20th-century signed Artistica hand made and painted ceramic vase in the Deruta style, featuring Mediterranean folk art.
The vase may be made of majolica (tin-glazed pottery).
It has a two-handled design with base.
The decoration features a profile portrait of a woman and floral motifs in honey-gold, beige, yellow, and blue on one side and more floral on the other. Quite the unique piece.
It is signed "Made In Italy" on the base. This is a vintage piece and has some slight wear on it. Only real call out is a chip of the painted layer on one of the handles as shown in photos. I feel it adds to the vintage charm of this gorgeous and special vase. Photos do accurately show the condition!
