The luminescent green glow material is a fabric that illuminates in the dark after a light charge for several minutes. It is made of polyester fiber and has a weight of 190 grams / square meter. Brightness is directly proportional to light intensity and exposure. Maximum brightness is achieved within 30 minutes exposure to direct light. Charge is maintained at maximum level until removed from light source. Brightest light is evident in darkened conditions during the first 30 to 60 minutes after exposure. Brightness will diminish slowly until recharged in sun or other light source.Total perceptible glow can be visible up to a maximum of 5 hours.Visible from approximately 30 feet up to 100 feet depending upon conditions.Cuts easily with standard cutting instruments such as scissors, bladed instruments or guillotined.For the best results, sew in place using a lockstitch and with no more than 12 stitches per inch (2.54 cm), and not less than 5/64” (2 mm) from the edge of the glow In the dark fabric.
