This is a real leopard fur hat from the 1940s'. The fur is still soft and has been preserved in a climate and moth controlled environment. The inside of the hat is a satiny red.Leopard fur hats, initially symbols of wealth and status, evolved through fashion trends, from being worn by royalty and warriors to becoming a symbol of counterculture and individual empowerment.
