- Replaces old part numbers 5-8731-1148-0, 5-8731-1148-1, 5-8731-1148-2, 8-9812-6231-1, and 8-9812-6231-2
- Can be used on the following Isuzu engine models: 3LD1 / 3LD2 (1992 and newer), 4LB1 / 4LC1 / 4LE1 / 4LE2 (1993 and newer), 4LE1 / 4LE2 (Interim-Tier 4, 2007 and newer)
- If you have an Isuzu engine made before 2002 and have not replaced the water pump, it is likely you will have an old water pump: the new thermostat has an outside diameter of 2 1/8 inch, whereas the old thermostat has an outside diameter of 1 7/8 inch. If you have the old water pump, you will need to purchase additional parts to upgrade your engine to use the new style water pump.
