Complete set of (6) transfer case / transmission skid plate nutserts / rivnuts to replace spinning or damaged nutserts in the frame rail, plus the tool to install them and (6) Grade 8 hardened yellow zinc plated countersunk bolts for attaching the skid plate. Fits all 1987-1995 Wrangler YJ's and all 1997-2002 Wrangler TJ's. These nutserts are heavy duty, Made in the USA and are yellow zinc plated for excellent corrosion resistance. These are not the light duty nutserts that are commonly available. They have better resistance to "spin out," the most common failure of nutserts, over the factory nutserts. These crimp down tighter and grip better than the originals that commonly fail. They are larger diameter giving them increased surface area to grip, 11/16" OD vs. the smaller factory 5/8" OD nutserts, so increasing the size of the holes in the frame by 1/16" will be necessary. This can also be beneficial if your frame holes are stretched or rusted on the edges making them larger than the 5/8" they originally were, which is most likely the case if your original nutserts are spinning. The internal thread is the same size as factory. The installation tool includes: Full thread tap bolt, nut, washer, and thrust bearing. Nutserts replace part number 6035739. Bolts replace part number 6035836. Includes instructions for installation. Note: These do not fit 2003-2006 TJ's. Use ASIN: B0CKG9KM9C for 03-06.
