Fully natural, purple sapphire ruby gemstone from the Zazafotsy quarry in Madagascar. This fully terminated and complete, raw gemstone specimen has a beautiful ombré of purple and lilac throughout the stone with accents of shimmery black and golden metallic biotite. The sapphire is double terminated with beautiful etchings and record keeper forms throughout the faces and crystal ends. An aesthetic, collector’s grade, thumbnail display piece that would also be perfect in jewelry making! The sapphire has a pretty lavender purple to pink glow when back lit and is highly UV fluorescent, glowing vivid neon pink red under UV lighting. Measures approx 18 by 15 by 13mm.
