GARNET SEED PEARLS CLIP ON BUTTON EARRINGS VINTAGE 1950s I was advised that these estate sale earrings were a birthday gift purchased at Neiman Marcus in Houston, Texas, in January, 1959, as garnets are the January birthstone. The metal on the earrings setting are unknown. The clips are stamped 14 KT. The center garnet stone is surrounded by a ring of tiny seed pearls and another ring of larger garnets. All the stones and pearls are intact and are in very good vintage condition. The colors in the first photograph are the closest to the true colors. The earrings are about 1/2 inch long by 1/2 inch wide and about 1/4 inch deep. Together the earrings weigh approximately 0.2 ounces. .
