Caribbean Quilt TOP ONLY. Made by paper piecing method. Some photos are of the back of the quilt to show the piecing. This is from Fons & Porter magazine Vol.13 number 10 (included). It's a memory quilt. Was designed for signatures and quotes for reunions.
Pattern stated a 2.5 inch border to be added to all 4 sides, but i did not add it. So if you don't add it the quilt will be smaller than the patterns finished size of 82 x 94 inches.
You will need the border, binding, batting and backing to finish. All of that's not included. Just the top.
This was a tedious task. The easiest part is left to finish. This took me 10 days, working 10 hour days to cut and piece together. Wow! Not to mention 125 dollars in quilt shop fabric to make it.
I'm exhausted and ready to let go to someone that will appreciate the time and energy that I used to complete this beautiful and functional quilt.
This can become a cherished family heirloom of yours.
