These pieces are classed as Rustic as the surface quality does not meet our premium specifications. These have a higher amount of flecking, minerals stains, knots and black or green streaks, and the occasional piece of missing bark. Although these are not suitable for Laser Engraving they can be used for many other projects such as signs, for painting, home décor, and more. Use a food safe coating such as mineral oil or beeswax and they can be used for parties, picnics, weddings and other gatherings for plate charges, serving platters etc. Expert woodburners can challenge themselves and incorporate the defects into their design. • The approximate width of these planks will be between 7" to 9'” wide. This case contains 8-pieces approximately 11” x 7 to 9" x 0.69”
• Rustic planks will have more or larger natural characteristics than our premium line. These may include large knots, green or black streaks, small amounts of missing bark and small holes.
• Rustic planks are not suitable for laser engraving. They are ideal for woodburning, painting, chip carving and many related craft techniques. Use for plate chargers, charcuterie boards, serving platters and for home décor.
• Kiln dried and sanded to a smooth finish, ready for your creativity.
