Billet Proof Fender Strut / Sissy Bar Bung Set - Steel For use with 5/8” Diameter Rod Features: There are all sorts of ways to mount your sissy bar or fender strut to your axle plate. Most people will take a counter bored bung and weld a piece of ½” or 5/8” diameter steel rod to it in order to support the fender or make a sissy bar. Although it’s quite functional, we were looking for something a bit cleaner looking; something a bit simpler. Here’s what we’ve come up with. For use with either ½” diameter rod. Simply bolt the bungs to the axle plate with a button head cap screw and insert the rod into hole on the top of the bung and weld. Once ground smooth, it looks like an old school cast part. Super clean, low profile and functional Bungs are turned and milled here using ¾” diameter 1018 CRS. Sold in pairs. Made in USA Dimensions: Length from center of bolt hole to rod end of bung - 1-5/8" Length of milled portion that will sit against axle plate - 1-1/8" Overal Length - 2-1/8" OD - 3/4" Bolt Hole - 5/16" Finish: Raw Steel Fitment: This is a universal fit item.
