From the Manufacturer The Web Rebar Positioning Assembly features grade 80 chain and our standard rebar hook for anchorage. The 9/32-inch chain has a tensile strength of 10,000 pounds. It also features 2 forged Offset Clevis snap hooks for attachment to the side D-rings on your full body harness or positioning belt. The forged Offset Clevis snap hooks are durable and eliminate the need for unnecessary parts and additional weight, while the rebar hook features a 2-1/2-inch gate opening. Positioning lanyards or rebar assemblies are designed for use on vertical work surfaces and allow a free-fall of 2-feet or less. FallTech’s positioning assemblies comply with the latest standards and have unique features that you won’t find anywhere else. The Shock Absorbing Lanyard is the active component of a Personal Fall Arrest System. In the event of a fall, a Shock Absorbing Lanyard will not only arrest the fall, preventing you from hitting the next lower level, they will reduce the forces of impact on your body.
