The days of manually cranking your boat trailer jack are over! The Electric Marine Tongue Jack from Extreme Max Products is here to take the load off your back and arms when maneuvering your boat trailer. Specifically designed for marine use, the jack head is fully enclosed and designed to get wet. The jack plugs into the tow vehicle's 7-way plug for the ultimate convenience, meaning there are no external batteries or grounding wires to keep track of; just plug in and control it with the easy to use up and down switches on the jack head. The jack offers a 1,500 lbs. load capacity and supports up to 2,250 lbs. on its 2" jack tube and oversized caster wheel. The jack head also features a durable work light, making nighttime hookups easier than ever! Ford Model years 2000-2014: 1. Connect wires as shown in manual. 2. Open your engine hood. 3. Find the fuse box under the hood on the driver's side of the engine compartment. 4. Open the cover and identify fuse location #21 and Relay location #9 5. If there is no fuse or relay in those locations, you MUST install them, or you will not get power. Ford Model year 2015 to present: 1. Start your vehicle and put it into park with the parking brake engaged. 2. Connect wires as shown in manual. 3. Return to the cab of the vehicle and look at the dashboard and make sure there is a message indicating that the trailer has been connected. 4. If you see this message, the power to the trailer connector has been activated and you should have power to the trailer. Press OK. 5. Return to the rear of the truck and make sure the trailer lights are on, which indicates that the connector now has power. 6. Press the up or down position, or the light switch on the jack and it should function normally.
