ESI Ribbed Rectangle EPDM Foam Rubber Seal – .187” Height x .500” Width x 25’ Length with .375" Width 3M 4011 Acrylic Foam Tape (.045" Height), Total Height of seal plus Tape is .230". To prepare your seal for application, cut to length with scissors or knife. Prior to installation, ensure bonding surface is properly cleaned with a 50/50 mix of denatured alcohol and water solution. Optimum performance is between 25% to 45% compression, with 25% being ideal – less than 25% compression makes the seal less effective, and over 40% places the seal at risk for compression set and failure.
