The ERCuSi-A Silicon Bronze Copper MIG Welding Wire is a versatile 2-pound roll designed for welding silicon bronzes, brasses, and galvanized steels. With excellent corrosion resistance, it is commonly used for surfacing and fabrication in marine, architectural, and artistic applications. Its high silicon content promotes smooth welds and good puddle control for cleaner results. This wire performs well with 100% argon shielding gas and DC(+) polarity, delivering solid welds with minimal cracking when small puddles are maintained. Offering a tensile strength of 345 MPa and elongation of 30%, it provides both strength and flexibility in finished welds. Available in .023", .030" and .035" diameters, it comes in convenient 1-pack and 2-pack options.
