This portable "Emerson Super Sewing Machine" works great. It uses bobbin sized thread spools. Great for taking projects on the road. Craft departments quite often sell loaded bobbins like the 4 included with this machine.
The machine is 7 inches x 3 x 1. Push button to sew. Most large machines feed front to back. While testing this, I noticed that, with the Emerson name facing you, it feeds from the back. For right handed people, it works to hold machine in the left hand to push the top button, and feed the cloth in with the right hand. In this position, it will feed front to back.
