The nightlight uses 1-watt with 120-volts while the receptacle operates with 15-amps with 125-volts. It features an ambient light sensor that turns the nightlight on when the ambient light is low, and off when the ambient light is high. The nightlight is adjustable to your desired light level. It uses long-lasting energy efficient LED bulbs that are rated for 50,000-hour lamp life. This combo night light and receptacle has UL listed shutters to prevent the insertion of foreign objects. This is a great safety feature for children. The nightlight features full dimming as well as 3-preset levels. For devices that are mounted in a series, they can be controlled by an external switch in guide light mode. The terminal screws are backed out to help ease the installation.
