- Humbucker-Single Coil-Single Coil (HSS) Pickup Configuration：The HSS configuration is a tried-and-true combo for a large variety of tones and versatility. The bridge humbucker is perfect for higher gain tones while the neck and middle single coils provide clear note definition under overdrive.
