The Drillco 300C series short length drill bit is made from cobalt steel with a bronze finish and has a 135-degree split point for drilling hard sheet metal alloys such as stainless steel and titanium. This short length drill bit provides rigidity and strength to reduce tool deflection and breakage. Cobalt steel provides extended tool life compared to high-speed steel drill bits, and maintains the tool's toughness and hardness in high drilling temperatures. The bronze finish lubricates the drill bit and provides wear resistance. The self-centering 135-degree split point penetrates hard material without a pilot hole and produces smaller chips that reduce clogging compared to a 118-degree point. The round shank accommodates most drill chucks.
