- To Prevent EDID Loss: Supports copying and emulating EDID when connecting devices such as splitters, switchers, and extenders. Cable quality and old screen might affect the success of EDID copy, please try another proper setup if needed.
- Simple to Use: One button to switch between internal and external EDID. The preset internal EDID is 1080p with 2.1ch audio. Pressing the button for 3 seconds will activate the copy mode to save the latest external monitor’s EDID in the emulator and ready to emulate.
- HDMI 2.0 and DP 1.2 compliance: This is a uni-directional adapter that allows you to connect your DisplayPort source device to a HDMI display using Parade PS176 chipset. It supports DisplayPort 1.2 and 4 lanes, compliant with DisplayPort 1.2a standard, data rate up to 21.6 Gbps (5.4 Gbps per lane). This emulator can only connect to a DP (DisplayPort) source and display on an HDMI monitor; the reverse configuration will not work.
- Headless operation supported; no monitor connection needed. Powered by the Displayport source device; no external power supply needed. The emulator is wider than a regular DP (DisplayPort) connector, so you might need to purchase a short DP extension cable for better space management.
- This is ideal for resolving signal handshake issues between a source and a display. If the monitor's EDID can't be copied, please try another monitor or use internal EDID for testing.
