5 Position Key Strate Circuit and 250k Potentiometers The heart of this pre-connected Strat® circuit is our custom designed 250K potentiometer. Our potentiometers were designed over 45 years ago and we wanted them to feature smooth rotation characteristic of 50s instruments. Using a 10-position rotary wrench, we create a potentiometer that works with DiMarzo pickups. It is not a linear potentiometer or logarithmic - it is a custom design and produced by DiMarzo itself. To further increase your reliability, we manufacture the center shaft and its threads in solid machined brass instead of using cheap cast metal parts. This kit also features a premium 5 five-position selector switch and a Switchcraft output connector, as well as a black and white end for the key. DiMarzio wiring is hand assembled and tested in the USA. We use the finest pieces available in the market, such as Switchcraft®, Sprague® and CTS®, and include vintage-style fabric yarn. Note: These are direct replacements for standard 9.5mm drills found on most Fender® guitars. You may need to increase the diameter of your holes if they are not standard.
