- Each large 3 x 5 inch two-piece ink strip is enough for a single fingerprint card. The Crime Scene single-use ink strip consists of two pieces plastic film coated with a thin layer of fingerprint ink. To use, peel the two halves of film apart and roll the fingers on either of the two exposed surfaces. A fine, thin layer of jet-black fingerprint ink is transferred to the fingers.
