Decorating is easier and more precise with this handy lathe designed to hold objects such as Christmas ornaments, pillar candles, eggs, vases, glass and wooden crafts securely but gently in place, while turning the object for easy decorating. It holds objects up to 4 inches in diameter and up to 8 inches in length. One handle is spring-loaded and the jaws of each cup are foam padded to provide just enough pressure to hold the object in place. The distance between the jaws is adjustable. Either handle can be used to rotate your object making it easy for either right or left hand use. Overall the lathe is 14 inches L x 4 inches W. It is made of a very sturdy plastic. Each cup has four equally spaced marks on the rim to act as indicator points for dividing your decorating project into sections. Also, the foam washer in the end of the cups have different size doughnut holes to help facilitate objects that may protrude from the surface of your project such as the cap end of a Christmas ornament. Instructions are included with the lathe and it is individually boxed in a sturdy cardboard container for easy storage when not in use.
