This water-based sealer formulation offers reduced VOCs, increased solids, and a tannin-blocking component to enhance resin technology, preventing soluble stains and tannins from surfacing while ensuring superior flow and leveling.
- Start by pouring a 4 – 6 inch line of DuraSeal DuraClear Sealer along the starting wall
- Pull the sealer towards the opposite wall using a clean, moistened applicator in an angled, squeegee motion
- As you near the wall, turn the applicator and pad to remove excess material parallel to the wet edge
- Ensure all turns and starting/stopping points are feathered smoothly
- Allow the sealer to dry for 1-2 hours, then apply the finish within 24 hours
- Dry time is influenced by conditions of 77° F and 50% relative humidity at the recommended application rate
