The Chief PG3A is a steel security cage that surrounds a ceiling mounted projector and keeps it safe from theft, bumps, and stray basketballs. Built for venues that see a lot of foot traffic and activity, it suits school gyms, multi purpose rooms, lecture halls, and community centers where equipment is often left unattended yet must stay in perfect working order.
This enclosure accepts projectors that measure up to 11.36 by 25 by 24.9 inches, so most large classroom or auditorium projectors will fit without re-positioning existing cabling. The front opening can be moved forward or back, letting you line up the lens with the screen even if the projector sits deep inside the cage. Once aligned, you can secure the front door with a customer supplied padlock for an extra layer of deterrence.
Chief designed the PG3A to integrate easily into installations that already use the company’s RPA or RPM mounts and standard 1.5 inch NPT pipe. You simply bolt the cage around the projector and reattach the mount, saving time and keeping the original throw distance intact. Hinged side doors swing open when it is time to change a lamp or clean a filter, so maintenance teams can work quickly without removing the entire assembly.
An open air pattern on every side encourages airflow that helps the projector’s own cooling fans do their job. The black powder coated finish blends into most ceiling spaces, hides dust, and resists scratches that often appear during setup or during routine ladder climbs.
