This kit includes all the hardware you need to make your own - minus the glass. The hardware includes for sets of corner brackets, including rubber feet for the bottom brackets.There’s no need to let a breezy evening spoil your time gathering around your outdoor fire pit. • DIY FLAME GUARD HARDWARE: Make your own custom sized flame guard with this hardware kit. Kit does not include the tempered glass. You can purchase cut-to-size 3/16” tempered glass from your local glass store.
• THIS KIT INCLUDES: Four sets of brackets, enough to build one square or rectangular glass wind guard. Each set includes both a top bracket and bottom bracket. The bottom bracket includes rubber feet to support your wind guard.
• FOR SQUARE/RECTANGULAR WIND GUARDS: This kit is for building a custom sized flame guard which is square or rectangular using flat panels of tempered glass. It is not for making a round flame guards. Round flame guard require bending of glass. Local glass stores are not able to make custom sized curved tempered glass panels.
• WEATHERPROOF: Made from durable commercial grade aluminum which will last for many years. These wind guard brackets are highly weather resistant allowing you many years of enjoyment around your gas fire pit. Best of all, these are Celestial!
• SIZING RECOMMENDATIONS: To protect your wind guard from direct flame contact and sooting, it should sit outside of your burner pan by about 2” on each side. Also note to subtract 1” from the desired length and width when ordering your glass panels. The corner brackets add 1/2" to the length at each end resulting in a flame guard which is 1” larger than your glass panels. Recommended height of the glass panels is 6”. For windier places you can go up to 8” high.
