"Decalage" is a coined word made of letters of the artists' names. It was also intended to connote a hint of the French word "collage." Each of the 3 originators of "Decalage" (Attilio Aloisi, Felix de'Cavero, and Diano Marina) is an artist in his own right, and they work individually and in collaboration. "Decalage" is not a name of a single process or a single artist's work, but rather, the hallmark of the artistic creations of these 3 men who are craftsmen and artists.
