Product Description CAT 210-0786 ELC Extended Life Coolant Extender – 1 Gallon Bottle Cat ELC Extender is developed, tested, and approved by Caterpillar to maintain the performance of Cat Extended Life Coolant (ELC) systems. It is specifically formulated to restore depleted additives and ensure continued cooling system protection in Cat machines and engines. Ensures ELC Performance to 12,000 Hours Cat ELC Extender is added at approximately 6,000 hours (half-life of the coolant service interval) to maintain cooling system protection up to 12,000 hours when operating with Cat ELC. Contains the Same Inhibitor Package as Cat ELC Formulated with the identical inhibitor chemistry used in Cat ELC coolant to preserve corrosion protection for copper, solder, brass, steel, cast iron, and aluminum components. Recommended Application Recommended for Caterpillar machines and diesel engines using Cat Extended Life Coolant. Not required for initial fill or routine top-off.
