The Carter AccuRight Log Mill is a sled system that enables users to square raw wood logs, allowing them to be processed into usable lumber or project wood via a band saw. Ideal for woodturners seeking to create flat surfaces on round logs for natural edge bowls, circle blanks, or other projects requiring a flat face. The user secures a log or irregularly shaped wood to the Log Mill using the clamping assembly, then saws off one side. After rotating the log back onto the Log Mill, flat side down, a second cut creates a perfect 90-degree wedge on one side. Removing the log from the Log Mill allows users to place the raw wood flat on their bandsaw table and securely against their bandsaw fence to re-saw off parallel pieces for projects.
