Made for larger carpenter (Camponotus) ant species. For large growing colonies ready for expansion. Features side wall humidification. - Debris won't fall through the nest. Each chamber varies in humidity levels. The base is designed to use 9-11mm water beads. (add or subtract water beads as required for desired humidity levels). Gen 2 improvements: * Easy open window ring system makes it quick and simple to take apart for cleaning. All you need is a coin. * Redesigned to an aesthetic nest cover inspired by an ant's thorax. * Ironed top surfaces to allow the window to lay flush and to reduced gaps in the print. 3D printed using PETG which won't rot and crack when exposed to water unlike PLA printed parts. Connectors printed using Tough Resin. Nest chamber depth is ~1/2". Five nest entry ports.
