I purchased this 3 qt sauce pan with lid and steamer set brand new directly from Carraway less than a year ago. It has only been used a handful of times and all items are in excellent to like new condition. I am vegan so this set was only ever used to steam vegetables in. Nothing was ever cooked in the sauce pan itself. It works very well as a steamer and has no defects. I always hand washed it, never put in the oven or dishwasher. I have cleaned and sanitized all items, but I would recommend a quick hand wash before use as well. Let me know if you have any other questions!
