- UTM-SH SERIES: Available in both standard shallow and long series design, Caplugs UTM-SH Series Ultrabake silicone thread masks are designed to mask off threaded holes. They are recommended for powder coating, e-coating, plating, and anodizing.
- FLEXIBLE DESIGN: Specialized for masking threaded holes, these reusable thread masks are available in standard shallow design for blind holes and a long series (LS) for longer sealing areas. The different options enhance their applicability across various types of holes and sealing requirements. This mask uses a shallow design.
- TEMPERATURE-RESISTANT: Caplugs Ultrabake silicone thread masks are fabricated from a specialized silicone composition allowing it to withstand extreme temperatures. These plugs can withstand high temperatures, protecting up to 600°F (315°C) for intermittent use or 450°F for continuous use.
- COLOR CODED SIZING: Suitable for basic masking applications, UTM-SH Series uses color coded sizing for easy identification and inventory management. This particular thread mask is available in a yellow color with an outer diameter of 0.260" and an inner diameter of 0.218". See Caplugs specification guide for additional sizing information.
